Hurray! You have booked a mini session!

Now that your session is booked, let's discuss what to expect and some tips and tricks to make the session go as smoothly as possible!

My name is Jenni

While, I'm not a Charleston native, I have lived here for over 8 years now and I call Charleston home. It's actually the longest I have ever lived anywhere thanks to growing up in the military. I love coffee, dogs, and am fascinated by hippos...yes, hippos. If you're ever curious, about why hippos are pure magic, ask me! I'm a wealth of hippo knowledge. When I'm not working, I'm usually out adventuring with my brand-new husband or snuggling on the couch with my two best buds, Warren (cat) and Buffett (dog).

What is a mini session?

A mini session is a smaller version of the photo experience you normally receive with me. They usually take anywhere between 15 to 30 minutes. Due to a shorter duration, they come with fewer images as deliverables and at a lower price range. To optimize the process, I plan multiple mini sessions back-to-back, all in the same location and on the same day.

Mini sessions happen quickly! SO it's best to be prepared to make the most of our short time together.

Our Process

Arrival

Please arrive 10 - 15 minutes in advance. You will be checked in and allowed to wait at our beautiful picnic area where there will be light refreshments to enjoy.

At your 5 minute mark, someone will grab you to line you up for your session.

Photo time!

This mini session is a quick 15 minutes, and there will be people before and after with just a 5 minute buffer in between. Because of the fast turnaround time, we will go through just a few poses and prompts. I try not to make you move around too much to make the most efficient use of time. If there is something specific you want in terms of posing, please let me know in advance and I will try my best to accommodate, but I cannot make any promises.

Delivery

I guarantee delivery within 14 days, and offer a sneak peek within 5 days. However, for this session, I am going to do my absolute best to speed up my delivery timeline in an effort to get photos to you in time for ordering holiday cards.

Important things to note

If you're bringing young children or pets, please plan to bring a toy that makes noise to catch their attention. I would also recommend bringing someone they are familiar with to help wrangle them and keep their attention.

Because of the quickness of the sessions, and the back-to-back nature of a mini session, I will likely not be able to accommodate a late arrival. If you are late, the time will be deducted from your session time. If there is an extra time slot or time at the end, I will happily fit you in, but if there is no time, we will need to reschedule. Keep in mind, rescheduling will not include the same set up. And I will not be refunding for missed sessions.

Please let me know in advance any important things to note (disabilities, mobility issues, strained family relationships, etc) so I can prepare for it accordingly.
